Welcome to my Web site, www.JohnMoyna.org
Washington state voters enjoy the special tradition of promoting citizen involvement within the political system. Under the populist provisions of the state constitution every voter has the right to run for office and have his/her name appear on the ballot, without prior approval from any political party. Active citizenship requires a forum for sharing ideas, as well as realizing that all ideas should be heard and respected.

I pledge Allegiance to the Constitution of the united States of America, and to the republic which it created, one nation indivisible with justice and mercy for all, so help me God.

Political labels are never basic or easy identifiers, All mankind can be categorized into one of two groups - those who demand the ability to control others, and those not wanting to be controlled.

These are the Ten Core Principles
that I'm promoting and supporting:

Social Reality
Equal Opportunity
Uniform Simplicity
Economic Freedom
Traditional Standards
Political Transparency
Personal Responsibility
Community Democracy
Voluntary Conservation
Constitutional Principles

Elections are not supposed to be won by party bureaucracy, but by the citizen worker who understands the people. Voting is the short term effect, public policy is the long term goal.

If competition in business is good for society, then competition in politics is good for voters. The further politics moves away from the peoples ability to control it, the more government becomes an enemy of the people.

In the modern age of hate and greed both main parties have become entertainingly foolish, boringly stupid, or criminally insane.
Government is the structured organization, limited by constitutional principles, through which society exercises political authority.

A governments primary duty is loyalty to the constitution and not any politician. All the numerous levels of government should never force anything on anybody at any time. All civil law should be based on the traditional standards of right reasoning.

A society that chooses between the fair market of co-operation versus the corporate collectivism of government control, would decide between the animating principles of freedom and liberty, as opposed to the negative reality of chaos and confusion.

An elected representative should be agreeably acceptable with most citizen voters, while at the same time remaining stably secure in constitutional principles. The basis of liberty is the freedom to determine ones own meaning and purpose within society.

In the mid 70's I started as a democrat voting for Carter, then became a Reagan democrat. By the late 80's I began to notice the similarity of both main parties. It was the famous "No New Taxes" lie that made me realize there is not any difference between the two main parties. The feeble, gutless response of the democrats' false and sham opposition proves they are part of the same Big Brother Government Control organization as the republicans. Since returning to Spokane, I have been studying the minor alterative parties. Spokane deserves much better than the discredited democrats or the roadblock republicans.

Whenever career politicians abandon their political principles in order to promote and support a personal agenda, they lead the state down a short road to chaos and destruction. Politicians dont believe they are worthwhile unless they discover themselves in the media. Career politicians are constantly searching for an honorable 'legacy' to hang their reputations on, while ignoring the purpose of constitutional principles. Our purpose is not simply to maintain balance within society, but the preservation of Liberty, Independence, Freedom, and Equality.

Im the Independent minded populist writer for principled politics, who is too conservative for democrats, too liberal for republicans, too radical for libertarians, too constitutional for greens, and too controversial for patriots. Its necessarily important to combine and merge good citizenship with principled moral standards. In fact, A principled moral culture leads to the civic duty of good citizenship. Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly, applying all the wrong remedies, and then pretending something was fixed properly. Politics should always be fairly balanced and stable for the benefit of society.

John Monya

Im originally from South Carolina born in 1955. My father was military officer in the air force, so I grew up in various areas of the country. I started grade school in Hawaii, finishing high school in Taos, New Mexico. I lived three years in Denver, Colorado working various odd jobs, then decided in moving to Spokane, Washington in 1979 and stayed for six years at Mount St. Michaels. I traveled around the country for nearly 10 years while studying various political and economic ideas, then returned to Spokane in 1995 and was hired to work as night janitor. I have now accumulated over 20 years timespan as Washington State resident. A community that does not recall what it was yesterday, and does not understand what it should be today, will fail in its efforts to reach its goals in the future.
